And Christmas continues

This is what I did with a few of the broken branches in my yard. I added some trim lace that has been in my sewing drawer for....uh, at least 3 years. I added some ribbon (.50) from Ben Franklins spring sale and other embellishments from the $1 store.
Thank you creator for giving me some broken branches in my yard.

Silent Night

I love the Christmas song :" Silent Night" mostly because our aluminum Christmas tree had a built in music box in the base of the tree and "Silent Night" was the song it played. I spent many hours just lying under the tree listening, singing along and making my Christmas list.

Reforming an Ukelele

I found this ukelele at a Goodwill store for $3.99. It has only 1 string peg, so I have decided to decoupage paper from a vintage advanced cardio workbook. It is a work in progress, but, it sure keeps my hand from being idle. I am thinking of tea washing it so the pages will look somewhat rustic and old, but, hopefully it will work even though I have already applied some of the paper. We'll see as it develops.

Day One

Okay, I am not sure why it is I have been fighting this blogging thing but, I have to say you would think I would be more accepting considering I am a network administrator and work with websites and computers all day.... go figure. I have been inspired by the women I have met networking at Ruffles & Rust, just keeps me excited about what I get to do.... Before and After pictures help tremendously..... thanks!
