I already painted this with a $3 quart of mistint from Habitat of Humanities/Richland, WA

Added this fabric which used to be an energy efficient livingroom window panel. (Goodwill $9.99)

Now, I just need to add some lace trim (Goodwill $2.99) and attach the metal rails, box & mattress.

Don't shy away from tarnished silver they are great buys.

I found this little beauty.  Did a search online to find a home remedy for cleaning.

Toothpaste??  Wow.  It is already coming to life. Can you imagine what it could do for teeth?

Here is my latest great find, an antique bird cage in beautiful condition with ornate iron and hand painted doors.  Very unusual and very functional for a small bird.  See it live at Tuxedo's in Duvall, WA

Vintage wood spools decorated with vintage jewelry.  Still working on adding some vintage lace or threads wrapped around the spools.  What an awesome use to both those unmatched and outdated earrings.

This is a "Ranger" model coffee table now a Springtime bench

beautifully solid "Ranger" model coffee table

The adventure is visiting Lowe's miss tint area.  For .50 this spring yellow was just the right fit.

I decided to use my new fancy printing blocks.  There is an art to printing evenly and I haven't mastered it.

Hardware went back in place.

Leather back seats?

A Great Day For Junkin in a few weeks

Getting prepared for A Great Day For Junkin.  Here are a couple of projects I squeeze in between jobs.

An old mirror frame is now a window box

Tile found in a recycle bin is now a nice kitchen or dining room decor.

Shabby Chic is alive and kicking

This started off as a dingy brown thing that I found at an estate sale in Monroe a few weeks ago. I paid $5 for it and just didn't have the heart to put it in the shop without dressing it up. I still keep going back to shabby chic. It is great to have such treasures coming from my imagination station.

I get some much enjoyment out of making something out of nothing

I found this drawer front in my storage unit and decided it was time to have a makeover.

I love having a hardware and craft department in my house. On I go to the next project that speaks creativity.
